International Conference on Statistics and Related Fields (ICON STARF)
The International Conference on Statistics and Related Fields (ICON STARF) took place remotely between 12 and 16 July 2021. Young researchers and renowned experts from around the world exchanged about the latest mathematical development in the field of statistics. More than 150 participants attended the event. The aim of the conference ICON STARF was to bring together young researchers and renowned experts in mathematical statistics, signal processing, statistical learning, probability, approximation theory, and all other areas that contribute to the mathematical development of data science. We shall allow time for discussion and stimulate scientific collaboration and exchange among participants. ICON STARF is part of the SanDAL programme of the ERA Chair which has been awarded to the University of Luxembourg by the European Horizon 2020 initiative.
